Capitol Hill Advocacy Day
We are going to the Hill to advocate for Rohinyga, Kachin, Karen, Chin and other oppressed people in Burma as well as Uighur and other minorities in China. Oppression and genocide must be stopped regardless of where they are happening. So let us join hands to Stop Genocide on this Advocacy Day.

Minorities in Burma Advocacy
We are going to the Hill to advocate for Rohingya, Kachin, Karen, Chin and other oppressed people in Burma.
The goal of the day is for concerned advocates from across the country to converge on Capitol Hill to meet with their legislators in the Senate and House, and to urge them to pass Senate Bill S. 1186 is the “Bill to Promote Democracy and Human Rights in Burma.” We need to generate support for this bill, as it will allow the U.S. government to levy economic sanctions on Burma’s military officials who are complicit in the atrocities against the Rohingya.
See you on Capitol Hill!
